FAQs

Who is this Planathon for?

Fundraising and Marketing/Communications professionals at nonprofits. Many nonprofits have just one person for both, but if you have more staff members engaged in these functions, bring your whole team! After the first staff member from your organization registers, email amanda@capacitybuildingconsulting.com to register the rest at 50% off.

What will I get out of it?

It really depends on what you put into it. We will be providing worksheets, templates, and best practices to support you in the planning process. Our goal is for everyone to walk away with at least the start of their fundraising and marcom strategy and action plans, if not the completed plans!

What do I need to prepare?

We will be sending a Planathon Prep worksheet before the Planathon, so keep an eye out for that email.

What if I already have a plan?

If you already have a fundraising or marcom plan, great! The goal of this session is to help you connect and align those plans to really amplify your message and increase your funding. If your plans are complete, feel free to bring them to this workshop and make improvements. It’s likely that our exercises and action plans will help you further refine your plans.

Where will the Planathon be held?

The Planathon will be held in the Denver area. The location will be announced at least two weeks prior to the event.
